Plants Re-Potting
you can transplant it into slightly bigger pot than the present pot or directly in the ground. To change the plant's pot, the plant should be removed with great care so that there is no problem with the roots. Make sure the soil isn't wet when repotting, let it dry out slightly first. Loosen the soil at the edges of the pot and pull the tree out by the base of the main stem. Add some extra soil into the bottom of the new pot before you insert the plant. Chikoo/Sapotoa is a long-lived, evergreen tropical tree. This plant is also grown for its Latex and cultivated for fruits .The fruit is a fleshy berry. The fruit has an exceptionally sweet, malty flavor. These trees are suitable to grown in warmer climate. The fruit size of this chikoo variety is big and tastes very sweet. The Sapota when fully ripe is delicious and is eaten as dessert fruit. The pulp is sweet and melting. Besides food values the Sapota fruits are also used in some auverda preparations.
