Care of this plant is very low and easy. After 20 to 25 days in this plant, vermicompost should be added from 50 to 100 grams per plant. Which improves plant growth, and grows well. When the plant is in flowering stage, it should be dissolved in 1 teaspoon of 5 litters of water using fertilizer (N.P.K.) 19.19.19. Or you can also use Epsom salt. Due to which the flowers will bloom very well in the plant. Water should be added after 3 to 4 days (as the soil dries). Water should never be poured in the afternoon. Because by pouring water in the afternoon, the water becomes hot in the sun and damages the plant due to which the plant deteriorates quickly. Therefore water should be poured in the evening. Description
Rakhi bel is a perpetual climber with woody stem develops to 15-20 meter with rings looking for a backing and creates white blossoms with purple, blue, or pink calyx crown sprouts. The reason behind this name Krishan Kamal or Rakhi bel is the structure of the flower. the 5 petals of the plant indicate the Pandavas; the small petals are around 100 indicating the Kauravas while the corona of the flower depicts Draupadi. Apart from this, the flower looks like a rakhi that is why it is also known as rakhi bel. This plant can be easily grown in a balcony also. The plant grows as a creeper on any tree also. Ornamental use as a climber over shrub & hedge. The plant is also used as single plant in pot. This flower resembles a rakhi which is worn on the wrist of every brother on Raksha Bandhan festival all over India as the symbol of a sister’s love for her brother.
